To get started personalizing your handle, you will need to navigate to the personalization page. This can be found by clicking the select Handle button at the top right of the page. Once you have selected a Handle you will have the option to view it in portal, personalization, or SubHandles. Click on the personalization button to get started.
Personalization is a simple loop: pick a handle, make your changes, sign the transaction, and then view your updated public page.
To add a PFP to their handle, users need an existing PFP NFT in their Wallet. To see if any NFT you have qualifies, toggle the NFT option "on" in the PFP settings. If you have any valid NFT, you can select it from the menu. Once you have selected the handle, click done. You will then be able to set that NFT as your PFP.
Once you have selected a PFP, you can then customize the zoom and position of the PFP.
You can also add a border to your PFP. The user can customize the PFP border with a built in color picker.
There are two main ways to personalize your background. The default way is using the color option. This is on by default and lets the user select a solid color as the background through the use of a color picker. Alternatively, the user can use an NFT if they have one in their wallet or would like to purchase one from the handle.me marketplace. For more details on the use of NFTs, see the Backgrounds page which explains in detail how to add an NFT as a background.
The user can also customize a border for their Handle through the use of a color picker. The circuit color is a unique overlay for the solid color background. It is not usable with an NFT background. By default, it is viable to disable or set its color to transparent or match the background color.
Under the text section, there are two customization options. The first is the text shadow, which allows the user to apply a custom shadow to the text of their handle. The second is the ribbon, which allows the user to apply a solid color ribbon to the text of their handle.
